The Program Manager – ERP & Business Transformation is responsible for providing strategic leadership and program management throughout the lifecycle of ERP implementations, enhancements, and business transformation initiatives. This role will oversee complex, cross-functional programs from planning and requirements through solution delivery, testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
The Program Manager will serve as a trusted partner to business and IT leadership, establishing clear program objectives, governance, priorities, and accountability across stakeholders, internal teams, and external partners. The role requires an individual who can build credibility with senior stakeholders, effectively challenge assumptions, manage competing priorities, identify and mitigate risks, and drive programs to successful business outcomes.
The ideal candidate will bring strong program management and business transformation experience, combined with a solid understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), ERP-enabled business processes, and manufacturing or project-based organizations.

Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Program Leadership & Governance

  • Lead cross-functional ERP programs, strategic enhancements, and business transformation initiatives from initiation through stabilization.
  • Establish program objectives, scope, milestones, governance structures, success measures, and delivery expectations.
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans, schedules, dependencies, resource plans, and executive-level reporting.
  • Coordinate activities across business stakeholders, IT teams, solution architects, implementation partners, and other external resources.
  • Establish clear ownership and accountability for program deliverables, decisions, and milestones.
  • Facilitate program governance meetings, steering committee meetings, status reviews, and executive communications.
  • Monitor overall program health and proactively identify risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities.
  • Drive timely resolution of issues and escalate decisions when appropriate.
  • Ensure programs remain aligned with business strategy, approved scope, budgets, timelines, and CECO standards.
  • Manage scope changes and ensure appropriate impact assessment, prioritization, and approval.
  • Promote consistent program management practices, methodologies, templates, and governance across initiatives.

Business Engagement & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with business leaders and functional stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, business challenges, and transformation priorities.
  • Build strong relationships across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, and other business functions.
  • Facilitate alignment across stakeholders with differing priorities, perspectives, and requirements.
  • Lead workshops, planning sessions, process reviews, and decision-making forums.
  • Challenge assumptions and proposed approaches when necessary to ensure solutions support long-term business objectives.
  • Drive stakeholder accountability for decisions, deliverables, testing, change adoption, and overall program participation.
  • Translate complex program information into clear recommendations and executive-level communications.
  • Develop and communicate compelling narratives through presentations, status reports, business cases, and other executive materials.

Requirements, Process & Solution Alignment

  • Oversee requirements gathering, process analysis, solution design, testing, and business readiness activities across program workstreams.
  • Ensure business requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, approved, and traceable throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Partner with functional leads and solution architects to ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives, ERP best practices, and CECO standards.
  • Promote business process standardization and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Ensure solution decisions appropriately balance business needs, standard ERP capabilities, cost, risk, complexity, and long-term maintainability.
  • Oversee documentation of current-state and future-state processes, requirements, key decisions, and program outcomes.
  • Support evaluation of potential solutions, technologies, ISV offerings, and implementation approaches.

Partner & Vendor Management

  • Manage relationships with external implementation partners, consultants, and technology providers.
  • Establish clear expectations for scope, deliverables, quality, timelines, resources, and governance.
  • Hold partners accountable for commitments and proactively address performance, quality, and delivery concerns.
  • Review partner recommendations and challenge assumptions where appropriate.
  • Manage vendor dependencies, risks, escalations, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure external resources understand and follow CECO standards, governance processes, templates, and delivery expectations.
  • Partner with the Solution Architect and other leaders to evaluate the market for potential solutions and providers.

Delivery, Testing & Business Readiness

  • Oversee integrated testing, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization activities across program workstreams.
  • Ensure appropriate test planning, execution, defect management, and business validation.
  • Monitor readiness against defined deployment and go-live criteria.
  • Coordinate cutover planning and ensure business, technical, and operational dependencies are addressed.
  • Oversee hypercare and stabilization activities following deployment.
  • Ensure appropriate training, communications, documentation, and change-readiness activities are completed.
  • Partner with business leaders to support adoption of new processes, technologies, and operating models.
  • Measure program outcomes and ensure initiatives deliver the expected business value.

Continuous Improvement & Strategic Planning

  • Identify opportunities to improve ERP capabilities, business processes, program delivery practices, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support development of ERP and business transformation roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
  • Evaluate program performance and incorporate lessons learned into future initiatives.
  • Establish and monitor program success metrics and benefits realization.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, collaboration, and disciplined execution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of experience leading ERP implementations, business transformation initiatives, technology programs, or complex cross-functional projects.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) or comparable enterprise ERP platforms.
