Optimize Search Group has partnered with a private equity-backed organization that is seeking a Finance Manager to support continued organic growth, expansion initiatives, and the ongoing development of its financial and operational infrastructure. This newly created, remote role offers an excellent opportunity for a high-performing finance professional who wants to move beyond traditional FP&A and take on broader exposure to strategic finance, operational performance, financial modeling, and executive decision-making.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will have significant exposure to senior executives, operational leaders, external stakeholders, and private equity partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models, reporting tools, templates, and performance dashboards.
- Develop, strengthen, and own the company’s budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Own cash flow forecasting and financial reporting cadences across the organization.
- Develop and monitor KPIs that provide visibility into financial and operational performance.
- Analyze financial trends, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Partner with regional and operational leaders to understand business performance and develop forward-looking financial insights.
- Improve the quality, efficiency, and scalability of financial planning and reporting processes.
- Serve as a strategic finance partner to leadership and operational teams.
- Translate financial data, forecasts, and KPIs into clear business recommendations.
- Lead analytical projects related to new service offerings, investments, growth opportunities, and other strategic initiatives.
- Support the evaluation and implementation of operational improvements across the organization.
- Partner with regional and branch leadership on budgeting, investment decisions, resource allocation, and operational planning.
- Help establish processes and infrastructure that support continued growth and organizational scalability.
- Work closely with senior leadership to establish financial and operational accountability throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- Experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or a related analytical discipline.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, financial modeling, forecasting, and investment concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to build and improve financial and operational processes from the ground up.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of Power BI or similar business intelligence and visualization tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate financial information effectively to both finance professionals and operational/field-based leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and make thoughtful recommendations with limited direction.
- Strong business judgment and the ability to connect financial analysis to broader business objectives.
- Curiosity and creativity when evaluating technology, automation, and emerging tools to improve efficiency and decision-making.
